LunchBox's WIP's

I was going through some old pictures on my PC recently when I found pics of Sheriff Bart from Games Day 2007.

Your painting has certainly come a long way since then :) Even so, that army was very well painted.

accidently how do you accidently finish something

*by drinking too much, and completing the mini, silly. ;)

Is it me or is his bolt pistol warped?

Great anyway

I think we know who the warped one is... ;)

OK, seriously...I think I see what you're talking about...I have no idea what happened there. (see previous comment about drinking too much)

I've started an Assault Terminator squad...here's a wip of the Captain:

Also, I'm still plugging along on the He'Stan...I have some finish detail sculpting to do...so no wip shots for you yet...it's pretty sweet though...

Long time-no update...been working on some non pa'd stuff, as well as the He'Stan model, and a little of my own army stuff.

Anyway, here's more on the Terminator Captain:

And...finally I can show the Vulcan He'Stan WIP...the backpack with mantle is separate...but here's the bulk of the model:

It's kind of hard to see some of the detail sculpting, but it'll come out in the paint.

Cheers!

More on the He'Stan wip. The crotch-plate is blu-tac'd on...thus explaining the light blue. I've gotten a lot done on the torso...not quite finished, but coming along nicely.

*Primed it 2 hours ago...and c'mon man...I already spent an HOUR cleaning it up...lol ;)

Yeah, I got the sword smoothed down, and a few other places that I could tell you knocked the lines off, but didn't feel like "polishing" it smooth. I also went with a generic outstretched hand at a 45 degree angle, and GS'd it in. It actually looks really good.

***wip pics of super-secret collaborative mini soon.

Finished the Terminator Captain:

Started a joint project between Starks3333 and myself. He did all the fabulous conversion work, and sculpted a ton of stuff on the model. On cool thing he did was remove the flurry of iconography, and sculpt and smooth the armor back into place. Really cool stuff, and the weapon rocks.

I've been working on the He'Stan more, and I'll post up more pics later.

Oh man Lunchbox, better keep this Librarian in a padded steel case, don't forget what happened to last years model. :)

Anywho, glad to see your still in the game. I was scared you'd gone and run off on us to join some silly xenos people.

HA! Well, this one can't go to GD...since another artist worked on it, so no worries there. This one's destined for the table top...maybe Ebay later on down the road when it picks up a little more. I'd have to get enough to cover me and Alex.

that libby is looking amazing i cant stop looking at it the gold is awesome. kudos to you sirs

The gold was done using my patented V.I.M; Vodka Infusion Method, whereby copious amounts of vodka are added to enhance the colors.

Thanks for the good words, guys!
