ShinyRhino
I'm a little confused as to how bikes and attack bikes draw their lines of fire. Do the twin-linked bolters of a SM biker fire in any direction, like an infantry model, or only in a forward arc, like a vehicle weapon? How about the weapons of an attack bike? Can the heavy weapon fire across the plane of the bike itself, or is it limited to an arc that does not cross the plane of the front fender? I know a vehicle's movement allows it to rotate in place. So, do you just move the bike your desired distance, and then aim the arc at your intended target? With a larger model like an attack bike, or several standard bikes all in a squad, this poses some line of sight problems if you must use a fire arc. Thanks ahead for any help or clarifications! JamesI
No where in the rules does it mention firearcs for bikes. I'd assume it fires like any other model. nighthawks
they are special units, not vehicles. if there is no fire-arc exception to the standard infantry shooting rules stated in the "bikes" special unit rules, they use infantry rules. I agree with both previous posters. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/142932-range-of-fire-for-bikes/#findComment-1654862 Share on other sites
