homerjwho
That's a really nice colour scheme. Maybe if you are having trouble painting white, you could try priming them white then using one of the new washes? Blue or black perhaps, would add shading where you need it. Good start though! nurglespuss
looking lovely Butt! The only white painting tips I have are to use Vallejo white over a base of either fortress grey (i've gone off this), or (my current use) the lightest grey from the foundation paints. Basically one coat of the grey over black (nice and even), then 2 slightly watered down coats of vallejo white :) Hope that helps, cause it looks like you have the technique right, you just lack the proper materials (btw if thats white from patiently using skull white, than thats an awesome sauce of awesome painting stylee!) Tyrannicide
I think they look great, completing an entire army of those Marines would be very rewarding and look awesome! Fuhror Templar
one of my non SM armies is beil-tan eldar, which is basically an all white army, and to get a nice even paint jobof white while still shadowing the creases is to prime white and then take watered down badab black wash and go over the crevases. the wash's properties cause all the color of the badab to go straight into the crease and leave the top atill white Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/143027-test-minis/#findComment-1656379 Share on other sites
