-Morkar-
First of all regards all the people here, you made an excelent job with this community. Thats my first post here and I wish you like the Nurgle Champion I painted some months ago. I want a Nurgle marine without the tippical fat-crappy loking. C&C really apreciated :) http://img390.imageshack.us/img390/2191/campeonnurglebc2cp8.th.jpg http://img147.imageshack.us/img147/5044/campeonnurglebcespalda2nm8.th.jpg http://img384.imageshack.us/img384/5634/campeonnurglebclado2kr1.th.jpg http://img187.imageshack.us/img187/9411/campeonnurglebccararm0.th.jpg PD: Sorry for the crappy photos and my bad english. -Morkar-
Thx man. I tried to paint it a little original, away from the rotten green characteristic from the death guard. Aryx Blackheart
Having a fantasy nurgle army, I would like to say that face is awesome!! How did you do it? Excellent job, the only thing I am not sure I like is his left "arm". I've done tentacles before, but they were always bigger. frootbat
The left arm is a little weird but I think it works. It puts a lot more emphasis on the big 'ol fist hes about to smack you with. It is nice to see a kind of rusty armour look rather than the typical green off-white colours. Also BLACK AND WHITE CHECKS!!!! these used to be everywhere in 2nd ed and i kinda miss them a bit. Also absolutely no bad english that I can see. Much better than my... uh.. whatever language you speak. -Morkar-
Thx for the kind words. Paint the face is really simple. I started with purple and then paint it like the normal flesh. I putted the purple cause in the rotten part, it will be visible and make the effect I was searching for. Once finished, I glazed with dark green and make the blood falling from the eye (using gore red, blood red and mix all thogether with bone (don't know exactly the name in english, srry :) )). As frootbat sayed, the tentacle is little cause I wanted to play with the size of the big fist. It's a horne of one of the Defiler masks.
