Captain: I suggest either a badab black wash or a black/brown ink on the jump pack harness and bolt pistol. Obviously, touch up the shoulder pad rims, the area around the knees, and jump pack air inlets. (I don't know how far you are on him so I'll keep going at my own detriment) The joints on the arms need to be painted and shaded as well as the helmet grill. Perhaps painting the bolt pistol black would break up the boltgun a bit. Shade the wings on the jump packs.

Banner Marine: Round out the right side of the black tear drop on the banner. Apply another layer of color to the purity seal parchment on the banner to make them more solid. Once that dries shade the parchment and try to ink/wash around the edge of the red seal to better distinguish it from the banner. Again, eyes, touch up around the ankles, knees, and right elbow. Paint the helmit optics. Shade the top of the banner where the pole and banner meet.

Both: On the teardrops for both marines I suggest taking either a white or slightly lighter yellow and painting a thing curved line in the bottom right corner of the drop to give a little depth to it.

Your banner looks awesome! The captain reminds me of a deathcompany mini because of his pose and the helmet, well done. Where is that storm bolter from?

Just simple quick fixes really and once they're done your marines will look quite nice! Best of luck. :o

I think you could improve on these by ensuring the red is less patchy, Its hard to achive, especialy on a black undercoat, but it realy improves the looks of the model. you can achive this by using foundation paint, mechite (sp?) red, and then highlighting and washing with your choice of wash, reds or browns or blacks work best.
