Patrick O)))
Thank you, all :) The chest piece is from the termie sprue, though I've modified the front a little Now then - which body do you think best suits the now-completed head? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v669/jesusfinger/IMG_3571.jpg or http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v669/jesusfinger/IMG_3572.jpg I'm much happier with the job I've done on the termie armour, and I think that's the one he best suits, but as my gf pointed out a lot of the detail of his head will be lost, which would mean I'd rather have him on the PA suit. What do you guys think? Thanks again :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/143427-pats-true-scale-log/page/2/#findComment-1704080 Share on other sites
Maratheus
Go with which ever you prefer. I really like the Mutton chops on that model :) Did you extend the legs for the Terminator armour? The_Chaplain
personally i like the first torso-- doesnt make sense to have an awesome 'do like that if you cant the wind flow through it freely LOL Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/143427-pats-true-scale-log/page/2/#findComment-1704085 Share on other sites
Patrick O)))
Yes, a little. I've used 0.5mm plasticard so far. I cut the termie legs underneath the knee join and put a layer there. I'm currently thinning the PA thighs - that picture made me realise that he looks a bit frumpy! And applying gubbins and bits of equipment to his belt. The termie is going to have extra armour plates around his waist but for that I need thinner plasticard than I currently have Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/143427-pats-true-scale-log/page/2/#findComment-1704090 Share on other sites
poisonfrog
gotta say i am loving this article, as far as the head goes i think it sits more comander-esque on the rank and file trooper body. it just looks more comanding. amazing work so far. oi oi oi frog Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/143427-pats-true-scale-log/page/2/#findComment-1704091 Share on other sites
#13
I've had ideas for a mustache like that for a while now. But now that I see it in the flesh it kinda reminds me of Orange county choppers' Paul Teutel sr. Be sure to include some custom bikes in your chapter. Other wise I really like your stuff, keep it coming. [EDIT: last sentence sounds as if I don't like the moustache, but I really do. Torso 1 looks the best.] Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/143427-pats-true-scale-log/page/2/#findComment-1704158 Share on other sites

Mal
I agree torso 1 looks better, the termi one looks a little to flimsy around the waist for TDA....
