Hi guys,

This is my first thread AND post. :D

I thought I'd show you some of my artwork; I've got lots of pics to post up here but I'll post them a few at a time.

**EDIT: Xenos taint removed. Please read the forum and PCA Rules before posting. **

Thats some nice work there Stugmeister, but i dont think the 1st picture follows the rules regarding B&C. Nice work anyway ;)

Erk! ;)

What rules are those? I think I may have missed something...

Thanks for the thumbs up anyway! :)

if it aint power armour they dont want it.. add a marine getting gaussed and it will be ok :)

Right - so SM's only yeah? Chaos and Imp?

Are Imperial forces ok or does it NEED to be Marines?

Space Marines, Inquisiton, Adeptus Mechanicus, Chaos Space Marines

Had a look at your gallery and there is some real nice stuff in there.

Love the Epic feel, motion and 3d presence of your work.

Well done! – Keep it up! :tu:

Cheers CM Graymantle! :D

I'll hopefully be able to upload some more of my Imperial pics soon! :)

I also took a look at the gallery and agree with the above, there is some very nice stuff. What sort of stuff (materials, paints etc.) do you use to do them?

Cheers Warfare! ^_^

I use a mix of Photoshop and Painter with a Wacom tablet on my Mac.

Long time no post! Right, since my last posting I've worked on a few more space marine pics, plus lots more besides! Anyway, without further a-do, here they are... :D

Space Wolves Portrait

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u206/amipcl/SWPortraitA1024.jpg

1hr 30mins in PS CS1

Battle Barge

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u206/amipcl/Epic%20Nemesis/SW_Battlebarge1024.jpg

Tried a new colouring technique out on this pic. About 5hrs total.

Aurora Chapter Space Marine

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u206/amipcl/EpicUKspacemarine2_1024.jpg

A Space Marine of the Aurora Chapter. This was a commission for Epic-UK. It was used as a prize for last year's Epic Grand Tournament.

SW Land Raider

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u206/amipcl/Epic%20Nemesis/HeavySupport_SWLR1024.jpg

This is an update of a previous pic - coloured up and a few little details added.

Tactical Marines

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u206/amipcl/40K_TacticalSM_1024.jpg

I was commissioned by a friend of mine to do some artwork of Tactical Space Marines. That's it; that's the brief! So I was kinda given free-reign really. He needed it done within five days, which for me was really stressful!

Anyway, I managed to get it done; it took me about 7-8hrs all told.

Rhino Deployment

http://i169.photobucket.com/albums/u206/amipcl/WIP%202/40K_RhinoDeployment900.jpg

This was done as a commission for a friend. He'd basically asked for an image showing a Rhino with Space Marine Transports in the background dropping off more elements.

About 8 hours total.

"Oh crap, Nooobody move....I think I dropped my contact...Is it behind that building? No? Dang..."

Just kidding brother. I really love that strike crusier pic, absolutley stunning. Keep up the work man, and get cracking on some more space battle pics! ;)

Okay, I'm going to be straight with my thoughts. At first, I rolled my eyes. Here was another artist straight off the Deviantart presses thinking that using the shading tool and clone brush makes him Salvador Dali. The Khorne picture in particular made me giggle, not for the background (didn't see that at first) but for the fact that he looked like he'd been on the Atkhorne's Diet for the last five millenia and was about to be recruited for the intra-Chaos basketball league. In other words, your typical first-time artist. Then the Battle Barge happened. What in the four hells, man, are you TRYING to offput me!? Compared to the earlier pieces, it's like you went away from your pad for seven years, went on a vision quest to find your art spirit, and came back with the disembodied soul of Bob Ross next to you! This new stuff is great, not just the Barge. The Aurora, the Raider, the fight scene, they're all very good. The proportions are right, they're actually doing something instead of posing like ninnies, and the coloration (or greyscale depending) is just fantastic.

Great improvement, keep it up.
