Angels_Blade
Firstly, thanks to everyone who has commented on my Scorpions so far especially Ah-Shaulah! Terran born, Captain Herminius was the sole survivour from the 1st company squads during the Battle for the Undying Faith. Carried back to the last thunderhawk by Ancient Horatius, Herminius made a full recovery and was promoted to Captain of the fourth company of the Steel Scorpions. Hope you all like him, C&C welcome but please remember he's only tabletop quality. http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7280039.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7280040.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7280041.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7280042.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o138/mustanguk/P7280043.jpg Cheers AB

Kurasuke
I like this mini quite a bit. What equipment do you field him with? He appears to have a plasma pistol, storm shield, and a power weapon.

Solinus
Bloody good work son! You may have persuaded my DIY chapter scheme! Also, which head is that? The conversion is very nice. Good work.
Heru
Also, which head is that? The conversion is very nice. Good work. The head is part of the original Veteran model that makes up the majority of the Captain, the wreath and plume are plastic (the latter coming from the Dire Avengers box - not sure where the wreath is from though). Martok
Good solid pose and the painting standard is more then good enough for tabletop. Nice effort.
Angels_Blade
Wow thanks everyone i've not had comments that positive before. This type of metal is really really easy. Start from a black undercoat and heavy drybrush (or just paint it) of Botgun Metal. Then just use a heavy wash of Badab Black, don't even water it down. If you want to go a step further then highlight with chainmail. I'm all for short cuts when painting a whole army quickly. My gold is just painted with the old shining gold then given a flesh wash. I think you can still get the gold but i hink it's been renamed. If anyone knows what it is then please let me know. Command squad is in the process now so stay tuned!
