Lord_Caldera
So I've been thinking of doing Bile and a squad for a while (forgive me Khorne!) but my store never seems to have him in stock. The do, however, have an overstock of more "modern" special characters (also why I converted Khârn). It was Huron Blackheart who was fated to become my little slice of terrible, terrible things. Enjoy! http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj254/lord_caldera/DSCN1321.jpghttp://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj254/lord_caldera/DSCN1322.jpg http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj254/lord_caldera/DSCN1324.jpghttp://i274.photobucket.com/albums/jj254/lord_caldera/DSCN1325.jpg Comments welcome. Lord_Caldera
Thanks. I understand where you're coming from on the silver (the camera is terrible). I tried to get a purple tint on the armor and some white tint on the shoulder and backpack to represent his ancient armor paint flaking off and never repainting the armor. Iron-Daemon Forge
Yes the conversion look cool, alway good to see a little twist to a specil character. What part did you use?? Guessing red corsier guy as the main base. I tried to get a purple tint on the armor and some white tint on the shoulder and backpack to represent his ancient armor paint flaking off and never repainting the armor I'd maybe just have painted the armour purple first, then black paint on area you wanted metal to show, paint that & done. But what you done look alright don't get me wrong Ip Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/144005-fabius-bile/#findComment-1668932 Share on other sites
Lord_Caldera
You're right, Huron Blackheart is the base. I used some Obliterator blades, IG smoke launcher stacks for the poison cannister on the Xyclos and a standard bolt pistol. The barrel on the Xyclos is a stubber end with some metal flash for the needle. I scratch-built the Chirurgeon from Huron's backpack, some havoc launcher pistons, bits of sprue and a chainsword and Chaos smoke launcher.
