I like the red and the gore on the chain axe - the figure looks suitably annoyed that someone chopped his hand off too. The only thing I could suggest would be to add a highlight to the edges of the armour (but it could be the pictures). The shadows on the shoulderpads look great too by the way.

Cheers for all the kind words and advice!

blood_raven_240: I agree with you it is bright, I was toying with a darker shade for a while but as nurglespuss pointed out, they contrast quite well, which is what I wanted!!

JetfireUK: I Think your right there mate, maybe a little highlight on the edged would help. In the past my highlighting has always been very harsh, with these models it's the first time I’ve really tried to blend the colours which is why there isn't a large highlight, but I think your right.

A17roolz: Cheers for your support dude. The technique is actually quite simple and effective. I started with a mix of scorched brown and snakebite leather which I applied quite heavily to the base, with the same mix I dry brushed the same mixture onto the area in which I wanted weathering. I then gradually added small amounts of bleached bone and repeated the same process. Remember to dry brush a smaller area each time though because otherwise your just covering up the same area.

I hope this helps a bit! your welcome to ask if you have any other questions at all.

The diorama is on its way, work is impeding my progress slightly at the moment.

As for his hand it does look like he’s just eaten it, maybe he had to gnaw it free or something! Lol
