Megalodon
I've decided it's time to revisit my first 40K army. I've been playing Space Wolves since RT and haven't updated my army since second ed. So they are a little dated, and the perfect excuse to paint a new army to showcase my favorite Marines. I wanted to do something different so I'm adding slight battle damage and weathering on this force. Here is the first finished Grey Hunter for the new army. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/GreyHunter0aresized.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/GreyHunter0bresized.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/GreyHunter0cresized.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v673/EasyEight/40K/GreyHunter0dresized.jpg Grrr... I need to fix the spot of grey on the exhaust vent on his pack. Other than that one flaw I'm quite happy with they way he's turned out.

Megalodon
Thanks for the comments I appreciate it. Yeah, he's been posted a few places cause B&C was down. The 'eyes' were done similar to the way gems are painted.
MrGosh13
Awesome!! Wish I could paint a force like that, I'd probably wished to gauge my eyes out after trying just a single model... Looks absolutly amazing, keep it up!
Pig Of Sparta
Very nice, I particularly like the armour colour you've gone for, a distinct pre-heresy feel there.
Marek Grimfang
Nice. Love the small chipped armour effect.
Megalodon
Thanks guys! Very nice, I particularly like the armour colour you've gone for, a distinct pre-heresy feel there. I'm shooting for a post heresy, pre-babyblue armor color change look. ;) None of my Wolfguard will be in Mk VII or VIII armor, they will be wearing the earlier armor Mk's. I've got a few nifty conversions planned.
Tyrannicide
He looks great Megalodon. I especially like the battle damage on the chainsword and his eyes look excellent. What happened with the Blood Ravens, though? Will we see more of them in the future or do you currently have your eyes set on the Wolves?
Megalodon
Thanks Darth. Oh there will be more BR in the future. They will be a side project for variety to help keep me from getting bored painting one color.
DiStudios
nice set of colours, the weathering really enhances the figure too. Nice job.
Wraithwing
Really liking what you've done wit this guy, I've got a Space Wolf army on hold that will be painted up in a very similar style to this. I really like the darker grey over Space Wolves Grey. Cheers, WW

c-wrex
I'll join the "Your color choice is awesome" gang. The baby blue and yellow scheme always made me think of a binky. Not very intimidating.
