Sometimes, Death Comes Loudly

It's good to be back...

Anyway, why the warp was messing with my favorite site, I kept myself busy. I got the Apocalypse Reload book and have been fairly interested in the Deathknell formation. So while I scramble up another terminator formation, I thought I'd put together something that looked a little better than the teleport thingie that was suggested.

This all started when I was in a meeting trying to write something on the white board and this marker was dry. I started to throw it in the trash and then noticed the end of it (i.e. what would be the exhaust cone) and thought, "hmm..."

So it has been primed and I am looking to get it painted up this weekend. When I get through painting all the components, then I will glue sand on the rest of the base so that it really looks like it punctured the ground and buried itself.

C&C greatly appreciated!

Cheers,

I don't have the book, but is that an orbit fired teleport homer? Nifty!

Yes, and not only that, but it comes with the big barrage template located on the marker which hits just before your terminators show up. Seems very cool to me.

Thats awesome. I love it. If I ever get around to the Deathnell Assault, I will make something similar to this.

But, would you think that the crater would be a tad larger...as this thing is fired from orbit..with no means of slowing down, and drop pods make pretty large craters...and they slow down a bit.

OR you could put another mini UNDER the beacon.. =-D http://www.bolterandchainsword.com/index.p...144461#smooshed. Or debris flying all over.
