fear not, i just came up with an answer, swap the grip position as necessary (or not at all us a hand instead ... ) the real hard part is the magazine as it degradess easily. solved this with a drum magazine form the scout bikers box. the postion is a bit tighter if you got for the static postion, but it works.. uploadng pics soon..

I'm working on a bullpup bolter myself as well, but the problem of actually holding it without major repositioning of the arm is a significant roadblock. The ammo drum you've used doesn't quite help with this, but if you solve this problem, I'd love to see how!

EDIT: It occurs to me it'll work fine if we can find or make a 'ring' magazine instead of a drum magazine.

atm this bolter is meant to be stuck to the leg of a future tech marine...or given a strap... but if you want to use it on a standard marine i have 2 suggestions;

1: reloading pose, it would look alot less awkward.

2: use a standard magazine and have the marine firing his weapon at an angled (at the griping hand, use the other hand for something else, great for fancy true grit models i would think) version of the standard "static" pose, if my head is screwed on right it would look like his firing it form the hip or just about to...

3: fail all the above you can place the grip on top of the bolter. This would solve any position problems but like the above it leaves one arm free. Or You could use an old heavy bolter arm for a second grip for two hands...

But for the holding the gun problem, I was going to have the guy holding it in his left hand, by the grip, and pointing or doing something with the his right.
