Creating a monster

Nice! I think the front needs a small walkway from the cityfight buildings

and then put some marines on it, opening up on your unsuspecting enemies

If you got the cash you could use Predator turrets for the turrets on the side

Also wouldn't it make sense to let all of the turrets fire forward and not leave the back 2 hangin?

Perhaps make them Cingular raising the bar style?

I wanted it that way, but the thing's just not tall enough for all three to fire over each other.

How'd you get the templates laser cut? I could do with knowing - would help with a project I have planned.

I'm studying design at a university with a laser cutter :huh: Damn I'm going to miss that thing when I graduate.

CRUSH!

Hopefully I'll have that nice smooth curve on the front tomorrow! While that's been drying, I've done work on the left side. I've plated up the tracks, got the front sponson sorted and started on the more complicated middle one.

If you guys think cutting up plastic rod for rivets is tedious, try having to take them from other parts of the kit >.< Fortunately I have a plan that'll mean I've only got to use these in areas where I'm extending kit parts with plasticard. More on that soon;

I think it's fair to say that it's starting to take shape!

I won't need to recycle rivets for the entire thing; mostly I'll be pressing them through .5mm plasticard with a scribing tool. It's time consuming but, as you can see, is fairly identical to the original riveting;
