Ultramarines Whirlwind

Hi! I'm new to this forum. I've been painting for a few years, though mostly Warhammer Fantasy figures. Recently, I've become attracted to the space marine miniature line and have just finished my first 40k vehicle. It was a lot of fun, so I thought I'd share :)

Thanks all for the very kind words!

Midas - I painted a base coat of Ultramarine Blue, then I applied a light dry brush of black for grime. On top of that (though I left some black showing) I did a heavy dry brush of Scorched Brown which I thought looked a like rust or dried mud. Finally, I dry-brushed small areas near the bottom edges with Vermin Brown to represent fresh mud. Give it a try!

The Emperor's Champion - The midget?!? :)
