Mac Gal
wow love all the scenery looks really great! what materials did you use for the buildings? they look really good imo EDIT#: oh and can we have pics of the inside of the bunkers, btw the posters al made me laugh they are so like the imperium! :) There is single picture of bunker with roof off among those i posted. However, bunker insides are just bare concrete. As for materials, i used styrodur (i m not sure about english word, i think its extruded polystyrene) sheets - somethingh like cheap foamboard. And paper. To get texture for the building walls, etc, i painted wals with woodworking glue, and covered it with very fine (beach) white sand. (Then its just black undercoat, and some drybrushing, easiest part of the job :) ) For floor, rubble and ground, i used shattered brick - cheap equivalent of GW slate :) [All it takes is old brick, and a hammer, and you can have all the slate you'll ever need :) ] Signs are taken from thread on warseer, IIRC... brother Hastatus
Nice! I like the statue. I've been meaning to make some like that for a while. And I particularly like the poster in the admech building: 'In Event of Emergency: Pray for Deliverance'. There's health and safety in the 41st milennium for you! aioannou
i dont know if this is against forum rules but are you making these pieces to keep or to sell?
Iron Father Rik
"In the event of emergency, pray for deliverance." That cracked me up! Basically, if it goes wrong, we don't know what to do, so you're frakked. Sums up the AdMech pretty well to be honest! lol
Marek Grimfang
It would be a pleasure to game on a table with your terrain.
Celestin
Love the terrain, copying a few pics for reference when I get around to building my own table. Also especially loved the posters, cracked up at "In the event of emergency, pray for deliverance." like everyone else. What did you use as the pedestal for the monument? Also, what colour buildup did you use for drybrushing over the black primer coat?

Mac Gal
What did you use as the pedestal for the monument? Also, what colour buildup did you use for drybrushing over the black primer coat? I used a "childproof" cap from bottle of painkillers. As for drybrushing, i just used Dark grey (cant say exact, as it was a mix of cheapo black and white paits), and drybrushed it with fortress grey, and pure white. In case of the building, the raised parts were based with dark grey base instead of black before drybrushing. i dont know if this is against forum rules but are you making these pieces to keep or to sell? Naah, for now im keeping them for myself :P.
Mr.(Space)Marine
Nice terrain, I wouldn't mind having a game on that. I like the posters too, but I can't read all of them (tiny writing).

Brother Blackbone
Fantastic terrain. Very playable and attractive. I especially like the barricades. Suggestion: broad areas of color on the buildings. Just big sections of paint on some of the buildings that hasn't flaked off yet. Green on the bunker, red on the building, etc. - Blackbone
Galen Artorius
Some great looking terrain, and I was pleasantly surprised to see you have used the posters I made! Did you use one of the new washes on the statue for the matt finish? Signs are taken from thread on warseer, IIRC... You are correct - the thread's in the Terrain section of the Modelling and Painting called 'Imperial Propaganda and Posters' or something like that. Sorry for the shameless plug Mac Gal B)
