Ultramarine Terminator

So, this friend asked me and four other close friends to paint him a Terminator so that he could have a whole squad painted by the people he cared for.

How can you say no to that?

So here's my contribution to that Squad, Sergeant Orpheus of the ultramarines, 1st Company, Haedron Squad, Veteran of Medusa IV

That's excellent. I'm particularly fond of the shield and the freehand on the shoulder pad!

EDIT: Blue joint ribbing is a little strange though. And I like more contrast on recessed details on armour, but that's just me, and it's neither here nor there.

Hey guys, thanks for the comments.

@Disruptor_fe404: Yeah I feel the same about the blue, not entirely happy about it, but I had a deadline coming, for my next marines, soft armor is going to be a dark shade of grey, blacklined.

@Scar Weaver: Thanks! Had a lot of fun painting it (even though he's an Ultrasmurf  )

@Drathmere: Freehands were the most fun to paint. They are painted with regular colors, only well thinned down, I don't usually employ inks nor washes, I prefer glazing, much subtler effect in my opinion.
