Bonjour, monsieur!

Je vraiment comme les fusiliers marins de fils de votre dragon, le coup d'oeil de samurai est très dur et vous avez réussi à l'enlever bien!

My bad french aside (I am only in the second level french class in school) These are nice models, it's something I havent seen before, keep up the goodwork! i wil lbe looking forward to seeing more of this in the future.

Thanks to all of you.

@Brother Azeek -> I hope my English is not as terrific as is your French . (I have an advantage : I - try to - speak English since more than 20years now).

If what you meant was "J'aime vraiment les Spaces-marines(*) de vos Dragon's sons(*), le thème samurai est très dur et vous avez bien réussi à le capturer!", that's very kind of you.

(*) => never translated, even on the GW boxes.

Currently working on a sarge... but, those that track this topic since long know that I work very slow.

My next post might be a kind of "chainblades for dummies" tutorial in related section...

Excellente idée et qui plus est trés bien réalisée!

Merci, Merci ;)

I'd love too see more of them, even better to see them in real and fight them!

Tchezz.

Why not... if you're patient. at current speed I won't have a 1000pts army before years :(

By the way, a rhino is currently in WIP section.

See you!

Rhino is now finished :

It's only intended to be table top.

Nice fluff, nice concept. Go on.

I remember an old White Dwarf in which was a picture of a heavily converted samurai space marine army. I''ll try to find it.

Suggestions: add plates to the thighs of the marines. I personally think the humble banner is good as it is.

I first thought of that SM army in the White Dwarf too. I haven't been into the hobby for about six years, and the issue was recent when I saw it, so you might have to dig through a fair stack of issues!

There's one in the back of the How to Paint Space Marines book.

Raised from the dead, here I come back to show you my newly painted sergeant.

As many of the SM I paint these days, some part of its armor have been repaired with dragons scales.

The 2 stripes on its back flag show its rank. Single SM won't have stripes while veterans will have one.

Now, the pictures (lick to enlarge) :

enchanted blue lightnings are not so flashy in real.

You gotta try and get a little more depth to your skintones I think. Your color choices aren't necessarily favourites of mine, but you're doing well keeping your theme. Everyone likes the skin tone on this guy. Wish I remember exactly what I did, it was almost ten years ago, at least seven. I did do a helmetless CSM when I did my second B&C tutorial.

Cheers,

Thanks for the comments guys.

@Night Runner : I loved them too but it was really too long to convert them over the existing shoulder pads of my clip marines.

Next : the assault space marines :

I like the scheme and I -really- dig your commander.

Perhaps this will help with your free-handing of characters-

There is a certain order in which strokes are applied.

http://www.cantonese.sheik.co.uk/essays/chinesewriting.htm

The stroke orders apply the same to Japanese.

Your characters will come out cleaner and looking more authentic, and will most likely be easier to paint, too. The later might be because I learned Cantonese and Mandarin when I was younger, so I had the rules stamped in my head, but proper stroke order feels like cursive to me. Smooth and flowing instead of broken and choppy.

Hey, I still got the rhythm : almost one year after the last pics, here are some pics of 2 terminators :

First, sarge :

And a "standard" termi :

The base is realized to be part of a temple floor which looks like this :

Center hole is for an objective (not finished yet) :
