Thanks for the comments guys.

@Night Runner : I loved them too but it was really too long to convert them over the existing shoulder pads of my clip marines.

Next : the assault space marines...

I may simply be seeing things incorrectly, but I noticed that the chainswords were lengthened, and semi-bent à la an actual katana. Is this the case, and how in the name of your corpse-god did you manage that?

Your eyes work perfectly :(

Realizing custom chain blades is very simple with plasticard.

You can see a Tutorial I made here. It's in French but pictures talk and Google can (badly) translate it for you.

Another dude for the Dragon's sons.

After more than 2 years on him, my full dragon scales covered Ironclad dread is finished (click on pictures to enlarge) :

Close-up on the base :

It represents a dragon nest just burnt by the dread flamer.

Close-up on the banner :

On the banner is written dread's name in Japanese kanji : "Seika" which means "sacred fire".

On top of it, a sculpted dragon skull.

Tell me what you think.

Note that any figurine or vehicle is magnetized in order to stick to the display during transport.

Have a look on this wip picture :

Thanks.

Here is my last job for the Dragon's sons : a wall part for a common project in a French forum.

It's a defensive spot with a heavy flamer :

Awesome defensive position. I did not immediately recognize the weapon as a heavy flamer though. Maybe you could add a pilot light to make it even better.
Thanks. Heavy flamer is scratch built (Tutorial - in French but with many images - here). Maybe that's why you didn't recognize it.

By the way, I can't modify it anymore : It's now with all other wall parts painted by the forum members. Gallery here

You've got a nice army here, you don't see many Eastern/Asian-themed armies about. Also, I found some heads that you might like for your Astartes: http://www.puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=141
Thanks for the link.

How did you make this? It looks awesome!
This objective has been made (from top to bottom) with :

- A christmas fairy lights part (the one around the bulb - sorry. Don't know the name in English).

- An electrical motor's rotor surrounded with toys parts (can't exactly remember where from).

- Objective body is a "super glue" (cyanolycrat) tube.

- Command panel is an old "space shuttle" kit part.

- Coils are .. coils taken from an old sound amplifier.

- Base is made from foam-board, textured fabric and bass cords.

Body paint made with airbrush, all remaining hand painted.

Does it answer your question ?
