boreas
Haha a fine example: my first Crusader (4 years ago) and the one I just finished! I left both models unbased to make a better comparison... http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_KYc5-ZYzLRk/SMFskTxeRXI/AAAAAAAAALg/dZE8XX-oD_M/s320/IMG_0891.jpg http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_KYc5-ZYzLRk/SMFsYsr_-KI/AAAAAAAAALY/A_esQ6dpE4I/s320/IMG_0892.jpg Phil ps, bigger pics on my blog Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145214-practice-makes-good/ Share on other sites
Disruptor_fe404
I definitely agree. I recently went through my tranport case to weed out models that were below my current standard... Tossed about sixty Marines. We've all come a long way! Celestin
Maybe it's just me, but I feel that the difference between my newest models (just finished a test model for my newest scheme a few minutes ago) and my oldest models is similar to the difference between the Mona Lisa and stick figures. Always good to see that you're making progress, but then there's the whole, "OMG! I can't believe I used to suck so much... I can't play with those!" And no, my test mini isn't posted yet because I came upstairs to grab my Blackberry so I could take a pic, but it's dark here... Also, it's -truly- unbased, because I finished the model before I finished building the base for it to stand on.
