BigJon
This is a test mini for my DIY chapter "Templars of Steel" Still not very happy with my metal, but each one I do comes out a little better. I do have a question, I was thinking about painting the chains gold/bronze, any thoughts? I still need to work on highlight the Reds and Blacks The shoulders are a deeper shade of red on purpose to let the brighter reds show up. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3290/2831954476_75448b8f60.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3268/2831954670_6a015b63da.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3060/2831120989_9b50f0c03e.jpg http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3034/2805734048_a64b721955.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145240-wip-diy-chapter-marine/ Share on other sites

Disruptor_fe404
As a person who also uses a near-monochromatic metallic scheme, I think you're off to an excellent start. However, some inking into the recessed armour details, and a lighter metallic shade at various points will serve to break up the 'one-ness' of the scheme, unless that's what you're going for. Trajan
Nice colour scheme you got there. If you are going to try a different colour on the chains, try with bronze. Good looking figs, BigJon :P -Trajan Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145240-wip-diy-chapter-marine/#findComment-1683903 Share on other sites
