The picture is very dark so it's hard to give an honest critique. You might also want to consider cropping out most of the background. Your pics right now are 1600x1200 with a lot of empty space. If you crop it down to just the mini and the base it works out better for everyone in the end.

I cropped them, never was much for photo editing, though. I'll try to up the light next time I take photos.

very nice!!!!

Is very good make in dark, I aplly ligths and.. well... I see your miniature and I think is better dark.

How do you make the vents of the melta?

I used a small hand drill. I started in the center of the barrel with a small bit, then I used larger and larger bits until I got the hole I was looking for. To do the vents I used the small bit again and poked three holes in each one. I cut the rest out with a hobby knife.

Thanks for all the kind words everyone! I used the instructions right off of the GW website. Only modification to the paint mixtures was a 10:1 mix of paing:blending medium

I was going to lighten it more, but the green began to wash out. Best I could do.

Begger's can't be choosers :D

I'll probably just break out a stronger light next time. I've got the other three marines in the combat squad base coated and the vet. sgt is almost done. Won't be long now :)
