I really like the name of the chapter, its really awesome. Though The color scheme doesnt so fit with it, I was thinking of dark colors (hence night) like black and dark purple black and dark blue or green, etc.. A little too bright for my taste. But I really love the paint job. I would think some serious DIY fluff is much needed :)

you should get some of the red scorpians stuff from forgeworld for your night scorpians, their dred is amazing if u have the extra money for them

yeh kinda low on cash atm but around xmas i might try and get another dreadnaught, i like their IC's to, although i have tons as i enjoy modelling them so much

the ghreen fits, some scorpions glow like that under uv light . I totally dig everything about this chapter!

thanks, i really appreciate it ^_^

scorpians glow under UV light? really!? I gotta see this!

Picturing your marines on the field of battle, they really stick out, but not in a bad way, very unique, and the color scheme has definately grown on me after coming back to the post several times. Now im thinking of making a brightly colored color scheme (though not green I dont wanna rip you off LOL)

Love them. A full army on a board is going to rock.

But for 5th Ed., what are you going to do since you can't have 2x Spec Weapons in a squad.

i was under the impression that in a 10 man squad 2 special weapons could be taken. if not i'll just use some extra models i have as back ups ;)

I wish it was, but no more 2x Spec Weapon units for 5th except for Assault Squads.

"Bolter Shock" squads still rock though.

may have to convert some flamers to bolters then  or include some of the robed guys i am doing instead of them being purely command squad

Love the colour scheme gil galed (welsh for hard isn't it?). These are almost crbon copies of my soon to be sister's chapter the Jade scorpions, who use a slightly darker green Mentor chapter style with black. Keep it up and I hope you get a Dreadnought as that would be awesome.

Well you'll have to MSG me when you've painted them I'd like to see um, gil galed is a lotr character ; )

As for lascannons it's a drop pod army so heavy weapons don't get used much but I'll see what I can do

Hey man, rocking colour scheme! well done!!

As for the Scorpions showing up under UV light, tis true, Emperor scorpions especially:

UV Scorpion

I must admit you chose a challenging colour scheme and really pulled it off. As for the 2 special weapons in a squad going away, wel first off, wait to see the codex youself and second, I would have no problem with proxying models (this flamer is a bolter) until you've had time to change things around (any player that does takes it far far too seriosuly!). We've always had a house rule here that it is fine to proxy 'down or accross, but not up' i.e. a special can become a normal, but not a heavy, as this avoids confusion.

Never ever been a fan of green but your marines loook good!

I like the freehand you have done on the banner & the marines forehead

I like your sergent also

My oly criticism is that you need to remove the mould lines (I saw the most obvious one on the Powerfist of Sgt. Apollo) and your paint seems a tad too thick

other than that, great job, I'd def get some red scorpion bits would really add more individuality to your chapter!
