barek
looking good, this actually looks like a (shock horror) balanced and un power-gamersih space wolves army. Good job :> Huh? I don't see scouts, rhino's, bikes, drop pods, vindi's, predators or razorbacks. Except for the scouts al normal stuff I think? That's what makes it a 'balanced and un powergamerish' army? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145472-space-wolves/#findComment-1686536 Share on other sites

Garou24
Great looking Space Wolves! For only playing a year you have a very nicely painted army. i love space wolves and your display really makes that army come together. Plenty of troops there to rush forward into the fray. Keep up the good work. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145472-space-wolves/#findComment-1686962 Share on other sites
barek
Whoah! Hold on! Stop! Wait! I was commenting on nurglepuss'comment that he was surprised to see a non-powergamisch space wolves army! That's why I asked him what makes your army a non-powergaming one. Read it like: is this a non- powergaming army because it doesn't use many vehicles or something? I was angry because he implied that space wolve army usually are powergamish which is untrue. I'm sorry for the confusion. I LIKE your army! nurglespuss
LOL Barek the implication was correct, SW armies usually are powergamerish, designed to get cheesy combat units and uber characters into hand to hand. Most SW armies I see are fully tooled up with as many ass cannons as possible, land speeders, wolf guard terminators, bloody wolf scouts, blood claws in a crusader, ven dread, and the bare minimum of grey hunters. I.E. a win at all costs army. This army, however, looks balanced, large and well thought out from a tactical perspactive. I.E. the mark of a competent General. Once again, awesome army :> Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145472-space-wolves/#findComment-1687608 Share on other sites
lord_bunny
these look great! Your first? How long have you been in this hobby? The painting and converesions really pop! looking good, this actually looks like a (shock horror) balanced and un power-gamersih space wolves army. Good job :> such a thing is possible? but we should hush, all the SW players flame me when I step one foot out of line...- Oh I see this has happened... nurglespuss
Ah tis ok L-Bunny, I'm flame proof, and I like Barek :pinch: The whole force really stands out doesn't it? its like one of those armies you used to see in white dwarf (gamers army) on the back page :> (remember those howling griffons from yester-year?). Bloodstorm
They look really good my friend, hmmm cant find anything to criticise other than i would personally have made them a little more of a lighter blue as they have been represented in 1st and 2nd edition, rather than the darker grey, but everyone has a different taste, overall really nice. barek
Ah tis ok L-Bunny, I'm flame proof, and I like Barek -_- Spoken like a true gentleman mr Nurgle, and mr Bunny I'm sorry I flamed your foot! Mister Pain: you usually don't see many jump pack (BS 3, WS 3) Blood Claws in space Wolf Forces. Don't you think they are terribly expensive? I mean, each JP marine is almost as expensive as space marine bikes (minus two points)! How do you use them?
