Hi all,

Initial WIP:

Well I took some of your suggestions, and have tried a little experiment, to transfer the half armour idea to a power armoure marine. I popped into GW yesterday not intending to grab anything, and spied a blister of grey knights... Well here is the result so far (must now leave it alone or wreck it! put down the knife!!). It needs a lot more done to it, and please ignore the cable tie!!

Now I have to think about colour schemes.... These were orignally going to be part of my campaign army as either aurora chapter or children of Icarus, but I think I would like a break from their colour schemes (maybe). All I have stuck in my head at the mo, is metalics (weathered) and hazard striped armour plates, however, I don't want them to look just like iron warriors. any ideas?

Cheers :cuss

I'm thinking of doing one tac squad and a razor back. The rest of the squad will be 'normal' plastic marines with the same theme. I'll also do a squad of sternguard I think too.

Good idea for the colour scheme cheers :> I'm thinking I'll take my time and really weather these marines a bit mor ethan usual, as I'm 'ok' with the new washes now. I may even grab a metallic spray of some kind.. hmmmmm.

id say try MFV's marmite method, that would be great for these models.

you have to extra armour up the RAzorback too,

if you wanted a black metalicc id say boltgun metal and then add black until is basically the darkest metal you can achieve.

ps

did you check out the oblits i made for my NL?

AHA!

cheers :>

I like the 'tech zombie' look of your oblitorators, and it makes the gunns look massive too!

Also, I really like the uber spikey chaos lord you have too :>

Cheers for the marmite tutorial, very interesting that one :>
