XKhalilX
As a soon to be professor of Religion, a practicioner myself, I have always been obsesse with Chaplains in WH40k world. They are by far my favorite characters and I have made a heavy emphasis on them in my DIY chapter. The picture is amazing for 1 hr! I would love to see a complete body picture. perhaps on a cliff or high place with crozius raised and having dozens of battle brothers (perhaps an entire company) raising their weapons and hands in glory by the words of their Chaplain? That would be not only one of the best pics ever, but with your skills, it would be worthy of framing :tu: and not too mention I would no doubt make it my wallpaper on my computer. Colrouphobic
That is really good for one hour of drawing. Thanks, speed comes with practice... As a theology scholar myself, I know what you mean. Unfortunately my business (illustration and conceptual arts) prevent me from doing any images like that unless someone hires me to do them. There just isn't enough time. Time for this was made simply because I send about 30-60 mins a day to sketch and warm-up... But thank you for the compliment! Brother Nihm
Smashing! My only point of critique is that the yellow eye lenses seem to 'merge' with the gold of his mouthpiece. I'd like to see them changed to the traditional red. Other than that, top-notch ;) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145793-artwork-warm-up-speedie-chaplain/#findComment-1690970 Share on other sites
Colrouphobic
omg! amazing m8!!! do u take requests ?? =) Not requests per se, but I do take commissions. Unfortunately, since I make a living out of illustration, I have to charge for commissions. Thank you :) Smashing! My only point of critique is that the yellow eye lenses seem to 'merge' with the gold of his mouthpiece. I'd like to see them changed to the traditional red. Other than that, top-notch :) Ah, it merges too much... luckily i's only a speedsketch :) I thought the eyelenses had various different types of colours, mainly dependant of the chapter :/ oh well... learn something new all the time :) thanks! Allerka
Spiffy! Love the shading, man. I think the backpack would be slightly wider, but otherwise looks great, especially for just an hour. And yes, Colrouphobic does do commissions, I've gotten several from him of my Chapter (my avatar and the artwork in my signature GIF are from stuff he's done), and I freaking love them. :) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145793-artwork-warm-up-speedie-chaplain/#findComment-1691693 Share on other sites

Colrouphobic
ahhh, its your job then... hehe no wounder u are so damn good ! =) Well, actually, I have the job because I have some proficiency rather then being good because of the job ;) but otherwise it's correct  Spiffy! Thank you, but to be honest this doesnt really stand for my final quality though...its really just a speedpainting, a warm-up of sorts... It gets more defined as I paint proper...
