shadowman-x
Well, my friend got a black reach box set and I play chaos, so I decided them beakie boyz would look real fine with a bunch of spikes sticking out of them First thing I konverted was this dreadnaught. You may notice that alot of my conversions include tyranid bits, thats cause I decided the greater daemon for my army was going to be based off of a possessed carnifex ( I mean <DELETED BY THE INQUISITION>, what greater daemon WOULDN'T want a giant spiky blade-covered body?). With alot of spare 'nid bits to work with, some beautiful conversions have come out of it. Including this monster. Enjoy. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/shadowman-x/IMG_4541.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/shadowman-x/IMG_4542.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/shadowman-x/IMG_4543.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v30/shadowman-x/IMG_4544.jpg *edit* OHSHI- wrong forum, would a mod kindly move this to WIP's? Trajan
Good start, but more spikyness please  cover up the arms and more soikes on the legs. -Trajan Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145888-hungry-dread-is-hungry/#findComment-1691495 Share on other sites
shadowman-x
Good start, but more spikyness please  cover up the arms and more soikes on the legs. -Trajan I have plans on trying to make the top of the dreadnaught some kind of heretical altar with a chaos priest praying ontop of it and adding more spikes. many, many more spikes... never enough spikes... JetfireUK
It's a good start - I think that you could add some claws to the powerfirst and maybe a tyranid head on the other weapon to make it a tad like the Chaos havoc squads? PlagueMaster 1988
Please take the carnifex head off. It will never look right. Tyranid bitz are horrible as they always look like a tyranid bit glued on, they are very hard to 'blend'. I would suggest a mouth from something else, maybe a dragon head or something. It will look much better, seriously. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145888-hungry-dread-is-hungry/#findComment-1692602 Share on other sites

Erik Crowbreath
the head might work if you greenstuffed it all round the edges into the dread, sort of like all mangled metal bitz-so its like it has been livin inside the chaos dread, and with the chaosy ritual in full swing, has ruptured the body of the dread, and stuck its head into the fresh air. ..erik Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145888-hungry-dread-is-hungry/#findComment-1707649 Share on other sites

Rest assured, this is like the alpha stage of the dread.
