WarpSpawn
Not that hard. As I said, an ork mob did it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/145996-los-through-models-0-attack-models-no-retreatin/page/2/#findComment-1698935 Share on other sites
maniclurker
It is pretty hard actually. I've personally had loota mobs shoot through two 30 boy mobs at a squad of my marines. I went and checked the LOS myself. Between legs, arms, and heads, you could see parts of the model. Such as half a head here, or a foot there. Like I said, a laser pointer really helps with this. However, if it truly blocked all LOS to any part of any model in that squad, then he shouldn't have been able to shoot. WarpSpawn
OK, I admit, this was just a visual inspection, but a fairly thorough one all the same. Looked like a fairly solid wall of orks to both of us. If it takes a laser pointer to pick out a marine's little toe, or similar, I'm not sure I would take the shot myself, though I cannot speak for the guy playing orks. That's just personal feeling though, not RAW. As I said before as well though, I'm in 100% agreement about the LoS. No see, no shoot (with the exception of what should be known as the "down in front" rule). Brother_Kluft
I too believe that transfixing gaze works on 1+ number of models. --------------- Proof : Assumption : "Any" refers to a single entity Fact 1 : pg 11 of the BGB, 2nd paragraph, regarding movement states.... "In his turn, a player may move any of his unit - all of them if he wishes" By assumption and Fact 1--> you may only move 1 unit in the movement phase. Clearly this is nonsense (further backed up by the phrase -"all of them if you wish") Therefore the assumption is negated. Therefore the negation of the assumption is correct Therefore "Any" refers to 0 or more entities. ---------- Excuse my terseness , but laying out a "logical style" proof i believe most clearly shows the issue.
