chosonofchaos
This is realy good, its easy and gives a good bone finnish. The way i paint bone is 1. bleached bone 2. wash of ogryn flesh 3. highlight bleached bone 4. higlight skull white 5. wash of badab black Enjoy! :( Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146121-painting-how-to-paint-bone-quickly/page/2/#findComment-2082839 Share on other sites
Aerixis
Thats rgeat man! I probably wouldn't bother leaving it to dry, just grab a small cheap space heather, I can get through fully washing and drying a squad in 10 minutes. Great bone technique too, though after the sepia wash I'd probably go strait to bleached bone, then another wash, then bone again, but I'm too damn pedantic! Liquid_awesomes
Heres my attempt using the method on a techmarine. these are taken after a coat of gyrphone sepia over skull white spray. I began to drybrush the arms but they dont show up well on the photos. http://i631.photobucket.com/albums/uu32/iioi3/PA210260.jpg http://i631.photobucket.com/albums/uu32/iioi3/PA210263.jpg and this is an attempt at sepia over a bleached bone layer, tbh i cant really tell the difference between the finish on him and the techmarine http://i631.photobucket.com/albums/uu32/iioi3/PA210266.jpg sorry for the positioning, my desk is covered in revision stuff atm so the floor was the only clear space to take a photo on Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146121-painting-how-to-paint-bone-quickly/page/2/#findComment-2357635 Share on other sites
