Now that I've seen it on a modelling table and with some paint on, I regret that I bought a WE dread instead of this one ;)

Very nice looking dread. I think the grey area could do with some smoothing up and it would be a good place to show some battledamage or other wear and tear.

I think that the main color on the claw arm needs to be dropped, that red just don't fit the rest of the model IMHO, other than that I like it alot ;)

That plasma cannon is just great! I love everything about it. (I may have to steal the effect for my Ven. dread's plasma cannon :) )

 

The dread in all came a long real nicely and it really does the model justice.

I also agree with the power claw arm being a different color, it somewhat sticks out like a sore thumb.

Or, if you like the red, you could tone it down by darkening it, or adding stripes to create red&black hazzard stripes.... I personally quite like the red, so I think it might be a matter of personal taste, remember its you that has to be happy with it! If red is an integral part of your scheme, then work it in :>

i painted the whole arm red because my chapter has those two colours in the scheme. i didn't think it was showing it just with the grey shoulder.
