Massawyrm
Yup. They work pretty great, especially if you run an army chock full of champions. The big problem with them is if they come up too early before you've gotten anywhere near where you need them. They will punch a hole right through a tank, but with only a 4+ Invulnerable save to keep them warm at night, they are not necessarily long for this world if your opponent gets much shooty action on them. The toughness 6 helps, but you really want to keep this guy in as much CC as humanly possible. When figuring in his cost, keep in mind that he pops a champion, so figure that extra 30-50pts into his 100pt cost from the start. A neat trick is to run either a unit of Chaos Bikers to demonbomb (make sure one is a champ) or to run a squad of Chosen CSM with the cheapest champ in the codex (28pts!) and 5 other loaded bad boys and infiltrate them into a crucial point on the board where you hold out until the big boy shows up to play. daemon*hunter
As i haven't got any models, you can probably guess wether i've used them or not, but from the many army lists ive seen, alot of people do use them, and alot of people recommend not too... Romulas
the generic greater daemon stats are very similar to the old stats for my Keeper. works well. i usually have aspirants in close combat by turn 3 at the latest. 40kChrista
my Greater Demon has been a monster for me  , he just got killed in the last game due to massed fire. if your on the fence about him just proxy a model for a few games before making the investment. i did that and almost like the proxy better than the model i converted for it. come on, nothing is more terrifying than a My Little Pony with a rainbow mane chewing up poor little marines. my little girl didn't like it too much but thats another story.
