I must say, you're one helluva painter. To be able to paint that well and with that speed makes me unbelievably envious. The marines firing out of the rhino is something new and is pulled off perfectly. The transformation of the landspeeder from a messy piece of plastic to dislay quality should make you proud. The fact that you broke the mold and used comic features only makes them more appealing. Top stuff!!
I'm very much liking the rhion but is that a combi-plasma i see there? and the plasmapistol but that looks ok. =]

Sush, it's the only thing I had left in the bits box that was close to a standard bolter  Let's just say he broke the plasma bit so it's a standard issue bolter!

I really like your style of modeling. And I have been thinking of adding those cinematic effects to my BT army. I have one question about those bits, do they come ready painted (as some are shown on armourcast) or have you painted them by yourself? :D

Thought before I don the armour and raise the sword I would knock out a couple more of the ebay bargains I recently picked up so here are two FW razorbacks, kept 'em clear of stowage for a change. Same old sh*t different day really!

Think I may have to part with the Armorcast reaver when I am back as I am seriously short of shelf space now and I still have about 60 more troops and 4 or 5 more vehicles planned for the Crimsons, so much for a 'small skirmish force' I originally planned for LOL

Couple of the effects borrowed from the Reaver. A few people suggest adding light effects, this is the one reason I don't. Most of the effects are pinned and interchangable depending on what I decide to field, models would look a little silly all glowing WITHOUT any obvious source...suppose I could always scratch up a 28mm scale bowl of readybrek! Remember these are gaming miniatures so I care little about the smaller details that would be required of display pieces

A collection of the heavy metal which the Crimsons can to date bring to the dance....hmmmmmm went a little beyond my initial plans...

Well, fair enough, I like the two new ones too - the dirt and little pieces of text make it look great.

I don't think the wider forgeworld HBs would have aloud any space for stowage.

Been beefing up the scout section. Got round to doing the Landspeeder storm (yes, I KNOW the forward canards are facing the wrong direction, they were dry before I realised..we all make mistakes!)

Also painted a bunch of cheap scouts I got from ebay (9 in total) so it gives me more options. Just got to paint up 5 or 6 bikes and the scout section is just about finished

Dave loved being a space marine. It wasn't the comradery. It wasn't the utter devotion to the Emperor. It wasn't even the cool armour he got to wear every day. No, it was the utter and outright violence he enjoyed. There was nothing better for Dave than to hand out a little power glove lovin' or feel the gore splatter against his helmet as he cut another Eldar in two with his chainsword. In fact Dave's last living memory was one of violence as he charged screaming at the Eldar Avatar bent on vengeance for the marine squad he had just seen slaughtered by the Demonic abomination. As the tip of the singing spear filled his vision his world went black. Dave awoke. Inside his metal coffin he could still sense the world around him, he monitored the wind speed and calibrated the targeters. The intercom directed him to 'go over there and BREAK that' oh joy....there was a heaven!

Pics below of the Ironclad in it's various combos. check out the rest of the gang at Crimson Ultrawings Space Marines!

I really don't know what to say. Probably the best overall army I have ever seen! I would love for you do some (loads of) tutorials, but wouldn't want you to take time out of painting awesome models for me to see!

Amazing!

Final piece of the jigsaw! Found some time to get these Scout bikes done. I 'think' that's about it for the CU's. Hmmm, OK maybe some Legion of the damned when they are out and a couple of characters but really that's about it. I will try and get some more full army shots over the coming weeks as it's expanded quite a bit since the last ones!

Finally added that missing piece to the Crimson armoury. This one was an ebay cheapy and boy was it a horror. Those stowage parts are not for show, they are covering a 5mm gap either side where the model was asembled incorrectly, also had to bodge together a couple of headlights from spare searchlights from the bits box. Maybe you cannot polish a turd but you can certainly roll it in glitter <_<

Rest of the Crimsons here The Crimsons!!! few pics below of the Vindy
