BulldogUK Posted May 28, 2011 Author Share Posted May 28, 2011 Got a BNIB Stormraven under the table, as I scratched one up for the Greys I was gonna paint it up for the Crimson Ultrawings, however I am drawn towards the banana men I must admit! Psy-crow - As you know I never like to over complicate things when the basics suffice so my metalics are so so simple. Boltgun metal base, black wash and mithril silver highlights....that's it!!! I used to blend a little boltgun after the wash before the highlights but frankly I find the darker approach is much more asthetic and contrasts well against the colour, it works especially well against the bright silver of the Grey Knights I find Hehe, good old Blessed, I got him on the satnav now....HAWKMEN DRIIIIIVE! BulldogUK Posted July 22, 2011 Author Share Posted July 22, 2011 Recently bought the Aegis defense line for the Autocannons to use on a Grey Knight DN, I absolutely hate wasting stuff so was at odds on what to use the remaining bases for, suddenly after seeing a toy 'Wall-E' in the local pound shop it struck me....classic Dawn of War objective markers!
