Storm Dragons 3rd Company
In the section on Rending weapons in 5th Ed., it give an example of the assault cannon. Under Space Marines in the back of the 5th Ed. rule book, it says Assault Cannon Heavy 4 Rending. BUT in the entry for Sisters of Battle, it says Assault Cannon Heavy 3. Is the Sister's assault cannon different or is this a misprint? I did a quick rules search and could not find this answered. JamesI
Sisters are still stuck with the old rules for assault cannons, as are Grey Knights. This is much the case for Space Wolves, the Venerable Dreadnought has a BS of 5 but it is a waste to give it an Assault Cannon as the weapon is only H3 with no Rending. Same for WGBG or WGBL's they too get H3 on their weapons but the standard SW Dread and the Land Speeder are H4 Rending! GW, once again has left too many loose ends!
