RocknChaos
very good! what materials did you use? Just Foamcore, white glue and some chicken wire. The building design is a template from G.W. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146588-cityfight-ho/#findComment-1700506 Share on other sites

Favoured of the Emperor
Nice, very well started, although the hole in the first pic looks too smooth. Â Could you do a tut, as I have a load of foamboard that needs something done to. Mal
I think that circular hole is supposed to be a round window or something, on the whole its looking good, needs more rubble however. verpine
Here's a link cause i used the same templates for my buildings: Â Â http://uk.games-workshop.com/cityfight/terrain/3/ Â Â Hope it helps. Love the bulding, btw. I added battle damage by putting 350 rounds in it at point blank with my airsoft gun, gives you a pretty nice effect actually. Wing_Knight
can i please ask how did you paint that? I have been looking for an easy way to paint foam and have not come up with much and that looks very well done was it a spray? it looks too uniform to not be but then again what do i know heh Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146588-cityfight-ho/#findComment-1703563 Share on other sites
elijahdprophet
I would guess that it is "fleck stone" spray. They sell it at hobby stores (grandma hobby stores, not like, gamer hobby stores) at least in the USA. It is a textured spray paint for making stuff look like cement or stone. IndyMal
nice scratch built building! my only advice is to remove some of the ruble on the inside of the building, though it looks great, if you're using it for table top play it can make placing models a chore. RocknChaos
Hey guys just an update... All done with my building. And it is a FleckStone Spray and I got it at Micheals Craft Store. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/RocknChaos/Warhammer/IMG_1899.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/RocknChaos/Warhammer/IMG_1900.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/RocknChaos/Warhammer/IMG_1901.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/RocknChaos/Warhammer/IMG_1902.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v515/RocknChaos/Warhammer/IMG_1904.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146588-cityfight-ho/#findComment-1706266 Share on other sites
elijahdprophet
LOVE the posters. I love when buildings have character like that. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146588-cityfight-ho/#findComment-1706357 Share on other sites
Mal
I agree the posters are a nice touch, but I feel that the partial one on the floor is a little too ridgid, you may want to consider curling teh edges with burn markes to give it a little more life.
