elijahdprophet
Very very cool. I saw in the other thread that you are using Boltgun with a wash for the main color, are you using a grey for the highlights or another metallic? Brother-chaplain Astador
Great looking marines! I love how you have made the colour scheme look gotith & gritty - a lot of the time when people paint silver they have a tendancy to make them look overly shiny, but youve avoided that well done mate! Montuhotep
'This week I have been mostly painting...A Sternguard Veteran Squad!' Which was nice..... And they are, as well; very good indeed - crisp, clean and simple, just what was required. XKhalilX
by far one of my fave DIY chapters. They look great Angel Blade, I wasn't too keen on the figures but now I want a set. Maybe it was seeing them painted as smurfs online that kept me away. Since our DIY chapters both have a steel color, I can see how my chapter scheme would look on those models. Great Job, your painting is always so crisp! Angelfire
Very nice. Clean paintjob. One of the more attractive metallic paintjobs out there. ImperialTemplari
Nice Angels_Blade, I too love this DIY, the VG figures are good but I convert all my figures and hate using metal figures so will make my own with plastics. Patrick O)))
Look really good :) Perhaps, for the final stage of highlighting, drybrush it rather than paint it? It's a bit thick at the moment, imo Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146719-steel-scorpion-sternguard-vets/#findComment-1704032 Share on other sites
