Regrouping Marines

Ok, here's a few questions about regrouping for our dear marines.

1) You cannot regroup if there is an enemy within 6", does that mean if the game ends and you marines are still running (but not run off) they count as destoyed for the purpose of KP and VP?

2) If an opponent regroups in their movement phase, can they move at all?

Cheers!

Going on memory, so I there's a risk of 4th ed contamination:

1 - Units may attempt regroup once all of the conditions are met (no enemy in 6" and above 50%) - the unit size restriction does not apply to marines, and they auto-regroup when given the opportunity.

2- a unit that regroups consolodates, counts as moving. Marines (from ATSKNF) do not have this restriction, and move normally from the position they began the turn. if they do not move, they do not count as moving.

hope this clears things up

As I just learned (from this wonderful board) at the end of the game units falling back are removed and count as destroyed.

non marines that regroup also can only move 3"

Yeah that one was tucked away nicely, eh? good piece of info, though.
