turelhim vampire
In the description of Telion's Stalker pattern bolter the rules state "It can be fired with the following profile..." Now my question is does that read to anyone else that it may be fired with the standard boltgun profile too? I figured that the wording was deliberate, i.e. if they meant it just fires stalker rounds they'd have said "It fires with the following profile..." or "Telion has a Stalker pattern bolter which fires with the following profile..." or words to that effect. Or am I taking RAW a little too literally? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146936-tobias-telion/ Share on other sites
Captain Malachi
If that's what it says (I don't have the codex yet so I don't know) then I guess you can, not sure why you would what to though. nighthawks
one would want the standard bolter profile for the rapid fire characteristic, as the stalk "can" be fired as a heavy 2, with a profile much like a sniper rifle, or it can be used as a "BOLTGUN" because it is a "BOLTGUN" in its definition in the new 'dex. Captain Malachi
Oh, didn't realise it was heavy 2, well then that makes a bit more sense. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/146936-tobias-telion/#findComment-1704263 Share on other sites
