Winterseven Posted September 24, 2008 Share Posted September 24, 2008 Hello, I've been looking over the B&C forums for the last 6 months for some inspiration as i'm returning to the hobby after a 10 year break. Back in my early days I was the proud owner of badly painted Ultramarines army (i'm better at painting now) and I used to follow the Rule books and Codex's religiously. However now i'm older and to be honest i'm not into the gaming side at all anymore, i am however really into converting and creating new models, armies and characters. Just recently I was given a load of space wolf models and decided that rather than go down the regular Space Wolf/13th Company route, that I would create a new Space Wolf Race entirely. As a result the Blood Wolves were born (Sorry if anyone else has already taken this name but I really like it and it's doubtful that we will ever meet etc.). Now i'm sure I read something on this website about there being a Crimson Wolves army anyway mentioned in the GW literature a few years back, does anyone know where i can get some info on this? Also i've been looking for some parts to make up a really decent wolf lord. I could use the Ragnar model but i'd prefer to make something a bit more unique. I've seen on some Golden Demon entries a really cool Power Fist or it could be a lightening claw that looks like it comes from the Chaos range, it's partially closed but the fingers of the glove are really spikey, which is what makes me believe it's Chaos, anyone got any ideas which range of chaos it comes from? I have at present made up some Terminators using the Forgeworld Space Wolf upgrade, as soon as my camera is charged i'll post some pics for feedback but if anyone can help on the two above points in the interim that would be great.
