BulldogUK
Saw these somewhere, simply had to have some, they look bloody fantastic, add a little bit of life to the battlefield and minis! The missile launcher rocks! there is also a mutiple launcher version and a few plasma trails available, I will eventually get them all and show them. For now what we have here are 3 muzzle flash grades, 2 laser blast grades, a flamer and missile of course http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/cinematiceffects.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/cinematiceffects7.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/cinematiceffects5.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/cinematiceffects4.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/cinematiceffects3.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/cinematiceffects2.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147514-armocast-cinematic-effects-real-funky-stuff/ Share on other sites

Alys Dwr
they do seem pretty awesome. I've been toying with making my own, think i'll have to now! Al EDIT: Is anyone else concerned that the flamer dude isn't looking where he's flamin'? Evapilotone
I presume these come unpainted? They look bloody great, but I can't imagine myself using them for anything apart from dioramas. Sonny
I have seen these before, but not actually used on minis - these actually fit scalewise with space marines. Cool. They look super awesome, and fit your painted minis very nicely. I especially like the bolter ones. Will you be adding these to every model in the army, or just select models? BulldogUK
www.armorcast.com sell them. Sonny, probably add them to 1 or two in unit to add a little sparkle, lot of the models are second hand from ebay so only a few are actually pointing the painful end towards the enemy anyhow! Yes, they are pewter and come unpainted, simple to paint though using a few bright colours I have added a pin to the larger blasts and drilled out the barrels so they can be changed around as required when I get round to doing some battle reports. Now I have finally got the Titans out of my system I plan painting up a sensible army of foot sloggers and playing the damn game a few times! elijahdprophet
Really glad to see these on minis. I was considering the missile launcher one for my Black Reach marines, sing that ML doesn't go together flush and I wouldn't know where to start on fixing them. These would cover that up nicely. Zeller
They look fantastic but my only question is why a laser has the same muzzle flash/color as a ballistic weapon. BulldogUK
They look fantastic but my only question is why a laser has the same muzzle flash/color as a ballistic weapon. 3 reasons Zellar 1. Its sci-fi, my lasers are powered by widget destabalising flux capacitors which make them that colour 2. Its the Crimson Ultrawings, they aint no ordinary dudes, they are allowed to choose the hue of their laser blasts by mail order 2. Frankly I really couldnt be arsed to move onto a different colour scheme when I already had the paints right there in front of me! :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147514-armocast-cinematic-effects-real-funky-stuff/#findComment-1711594 Share on other sites
El-Diablo
Those look like really good effects, with a great paint job. I saw them when they were first released and was a bit unsure about them, now im sold. Any chance of close-ups on the bolt pistol, bolter and heavy bolter? BulldogUK
had a little play around with the larger of the effects. caught Mjolnir here mid volley giving everything he had!!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/Reaverbullettime2.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v429/BulldogUK/Reaverbullettime.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147514-armocast-cinematic-effects-real-funky-stuff/#findComment-1753296 Share on other sites
Swordlord
They are quite nice. My only concern is that they are metal, which may cause some balance problems for some figures, especially unweighted plastics. If you prepare for that circumstance, they should really enhance your models!
