WolfLordLars
As I am re-doing my terminators, I have an opportunity now to make their bases... 'pretty'. For my other marines, I just use some generic gravel basing material. Really fine gravel, with a finer layer mixed in, and then painted over. Problem is, the base looks alot like the color of the armor, which is what I was going for (to blend in), but doesnt look that good for a gaming purpose. Soooo... I still have a bunch of snow flocking that Depthcharge gave me years ago (funny story, he sent it in a little plastic baggie.. glad no one saw me when I opened it), so was thinking of adding that on to improve the look. Problem is, I am clueless with both making bases look good and how to add the snow. Help? Dark Bjoern
For my GK i had used a mix of the GW snow flocking and white railroad ballast for model railroads. http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x120/DarkBjoern/Grey%20Knights/GreyKnightTerminatorCaptian1.jpg http://i186.photobucket.com/albums/x120/DarkBjoern/Grey%20Knights/GreyKnightCybot3LegsandBase.jpg Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/147530-basing-my-wolves/#findComment-1711292 Share on other sites
