Shiodome
looks great :) how long did the dorp pod take to paint? i've been looking at the model thinking that it looks like a huge surface area, and so many edges to highlight... would take me days the way i paint o_O
Grandmaster
It took me 19 hours from start to finish including building! There are a lot of "sides" to paint. :)
I am Legion
Everything looks amazing. I really enjoy seeing nicely painted salamanders.
Rottimus
Super awesome! Looks worthy of being in a codex i.e perfect. Its the solid green that gets me. So flawless. I can never get big patches of clean color. Very nicely done.
nurglespuss
Fanatstic! great clean comic book style colours (which I love), and the pot looks a lot bigger than I thought it was!! You get..... 5 shiny pebbles and a bag from Harrods!
Imperator Mos
Great looking squad and pod. I especially like your flame effects.
Brother Ziggy
looks great ;) how long did the dorp pod take to paint? i've been looking at the model thinking that it looks like a huge surface area, and so many edges to highlight... would take me days the way i paint o_O Thats why you have to paint an all black chapter, like me :) Anyway, that's an amazing looking DP, the flames look awesome! drizzt73
excellent work. Did you do a blog for these guys at all?
Legacy40k
This is quite possibly the best looking drop pod I have ever seen... I love it. The one thing I do think it could use adding is a Salamanders chapter icon on each door. Partially because salamanders have one of the coolest chapter icons out there. Capt. Dracion
Ooo pretty. I love the solid green youve achieved.
Brother Shrike
Excellent job. One question: does the pod kit suffer from rhino-door syndrome? (i.e. do the doors stay closed by themselves?)
Vertebrae
Epic.
Grandmaster
Excellent job. One question: does the pod kit suffer from rhino-door syndrome? (i.e. do the doors stay closed by themselves?) No its very good at staying up, better than i ever thought it would be ^_^
Ompfris
Nice Drop Pod, I dont think I have the time to paint one.... I would prob get mad half way through and leave it on the table untill they bring out the 6th edition of the game! Salamanders seem to be as popular as the Ultramarines used to be! Grandmaster
Thats why you have to paint an all black chapter, like me :jaw: Been there, done that, got the T-Shirt http://www.pbase.com/frazervisser/iron_hands :tu:

MithrilForge
Great Squad,Most Excellent Pod :P i am most impressed with the use of the flames on the side parts,as i think thats the part on other pods that lacks any Flair/Style(straight boltgun on such a big surface looks very Bland) so well done very nice. Firedrake Cordova
Great work - very nice and clean. If anything, the drop pod might look a little "flat" on the green (no real visible highlight), but that's personal taste, I guess. Really nice job on the flames, though.
