Imperator Sam
Hello, everybody. This is my first post, although I have been a lurker on the forums for some time now. I really enjoy drawing, and I just bought some new pencils today. What better way to christen them then with a Space Marine? I realize that this is inferior to most other artwork on this forum, but I hope that I will be able to develope more as an artist over time. Any comments, criticisms, hints, or tips you may have would be gladly appreciated. Thanks.
Mr. Nipples
Well you have a good start and one thing is the character, this drawing has it. What it needs now is some varying lineweights to show depth, some work on proportions and overall just some practice. Very good start though. :)

Ompfris
Its good, I think you just need to square up the shoulder pads yours seem a little too round and the pistols too thin but good work on the armour.
Imperator Sam
Thank you for your comments as well, Ompfris. I made the shoulder pads somewhat curvy to try make it look a little more 3-D. But I think i will make the pistol a little wider.
