wappellious
Some of you might remember that test mini that I did a while back for this World Eaters force. The buyer wanted something that could be used as either loyalist or fallen. These guys are the result. Slightly tainted pre-heresy World Eaters, using the FW conversion bits. This is my first chance to do an entire army with weathering and battle damage, etc. A nice change! DuskRaider
Superb! Great detail and paint job, while I wouldn't call them Pre-Heresy, I think this would be a great scheme for Post Heresy World Eaters. I never liked the fact that they changed their paint scheme. Maybe try some dried blood on some to give the quasi-red look, which I think would be very characterful. Keep up the great work and keep us posted! Dark Sensei
This is a very impressive job and a pleasure to see WE ancient colours ! Though, perhaps should you consider the use of a hand drill for guns at this level of painting, frater. I hope to see many more others soon. SamaNagol
Would you mind telling me what your colour palette was for the 'white' areas?
Wolf89
Awesome paint job, I really like your whites, top notch. As someone else said this isn't pre-heresy, just the color scheme is. Either way it looks amazing. Great free-hand as well. :cuss
wappellious
I used reaper stone grey as the basecoat for the white parts. This was shaded with reaper walnut. It was lightened with white. The weathering and staining were done with a mix of bestial brown and black glazes and washes.
