Dourine
Hello. Last weekend, about three of my friends at our local hobby store got rather flustered. The reason? In the armory section of their new marine codex, it gives the description and effect of master-crafted weapons. They said it said something like "Master crafting is an upgrade to any weapon". Their problem is that nowhere can they find any weapons that can be master-crafted, because no upgrade options or points increase exists. If anybody can help me, i'll be able to clear this up for my power armored friends.....as i'm deepstriking daemons right next to them. Leethal
You can no longer give the master-craft upgrade to weapons in the new Space Marine Codex. Master-craft rule is in the codex because some of the Special Characters have a Master-crafted weapon, or you're a Salamander army. Morte
That's a pretty funny gaffe on GW's part :RTBBB: Absolutely fantastic :D I don't think Codex marines can master craft items anymore. It's possible that the rule exists purely for Shrike's master-crafted rending lightning claws. Leethal
Morte is correct. You can't do that anymore. the rule is still there for Salamanders, certain Special Characters' weapons and etc. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148457-space-marine-master-crafting/#findComment-1723011 Share on other sites

Morte
lol, gone are the days when piddly NON-named chapter leaders can get a master-crafted weapon. And long gone are the days when squad sergeants could get master-crafted bolters. Ah the days of yore. Thantoes
Even Papa Smurf's super uber ancient powerfists arent mastercrafted anymore. Now that makes no sense at all. If the weapons of a primarch arent MC'ed then what can be????? :P Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148457-space-marine-master-crafting/#findComment-1731117 Share on other sites

garreth
Flamers and meltas are twin-linked. Thunderhammer - master-crafted. Master-crafted do not make flamers better in any way =)) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148457-space-marine-master-crafting/#findComment-1733856 Share on other sites
