If you're making a CC squad, it should have numbers- preferably eight or more. If you're making an anti-tank squad, it should be min-maxed- no more than six, and I'd advise the IoCG. If you're making a squad that does both, go with the numbers- they'll need those attacks, and I'd advise IoS or IoK. Specifically- if you've got the IoK, give the Champ a fist, if you've got the IoS, give him Claws.

 

I run a squad of eight with the IoS and a Lightning Claw Champ with two meltaguns. Kills generally whatever I throw them at.

 

Of course, you've got to pick your targets- pick something they can kill or break quickly. Mobile squads are too valuable to get bogged down in combats- need to get the job done and move on to the next target.

 

This is just what's worked for me, though.
