Beef
Reason I am wondering is that I was contemplating selling some of my older SW painted armies off as I have way to much stuff. Would it be worth me doing this now or waiting untill the new codex comes out? OnlyInDeath
I'm not really sure actually. I mean, there are new people to the fang almost every week right now, so I'd assume, that yes they are. And I guess I would say now is a better time to sell than later, as a lot of your models are usable now, where as later, they might just be collectables. Obviously i'm not a SW market analyst, but I'd imagine that you could sell your stuff no problem. Iams
I think they are. Maybe you should wait till the new codex comes because then you can say: OOP SWs! Because they might stop making the "old" SW models. Personally I'm going to stock up on the old models in case they stop making them. I 'm just wondering how much would you sell your stuff for and what do you have? Beef
I could do but all the stuff is converted so its not really oop. Its all true scale converted heresy stuff. Is it better to sell it squad by squad or as a whole. Do we even have a sales section here as I would rather they went to somebody on this forum. Not gona post pic's in case that counts as soliciting Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148848-are-people-still-buying-sws/#findComment-1729095 Share on other sites

Grey Mage
I dunno about that. Truescale marines? Painted and coverted up for preheresy? That sounds like it would sell good at any time. OnlyInDeath
Seriously, if I had the money I'd be all about it. that's a lot of conversion time, and I know beef is a quality painter. How could you say no? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148848-are-people-still-buying-sws/#findComment-1729800 Share on other sites
saphius
I'd might be interested.... Always wanted pre-heresy stuff, specifically wolf guard and scouts, but don't have time to paint, let alone convert things. I think that your stuff, being converted and such will sell at any time... though I don't know the going rates for painted/converted models because I've never bought any. WolfLordLars
Lord Rag - Do you know why there is no selling/trading on the forum? I think I asked the mods several years ago and they didnt know (or wouldnt tell me) and I still think Kurgan might be ticked off at me, so I wont be asking him. Just wondering what the basis of that rule was. Just wondering what the basis of that rule was. This question has been addressed in the Suggestions forum a few times when people have requested a trade/sale forum. Basically, if the B&C runs the forum and a deal goes wrong, the B&C will wind up having to deal with the fallout. Easier just to disallow such posts altogether. WolfLordLars
Eh, thats a cop-out. Several forums allow its members to do buy/sell/trade, and get no problems from it. As long as there is the typical disclaimer, its no issue to them.
