orphanfeast99
Where their any metals/rewards/color patters indicating a veteran of the heresy? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148863-signs-of-the-herasy/ Share on other sites
Sons of Horus
no, i don't know of any however the veterans of the heresy most likely stood out on the field because of their age and experience. although sadly many died before living long enough to reach the 41st millennium. Sigismund Himself
Among the Loyalists, the studded shoulder pad and Mk. VI power armour came to symbolize the sacrifice of the Legions at the Siege of Terra. Brother Tyler
The right to wear the aquila was also granted to those Legions that remained loyal to the Emperor. Prior to that, only the Emperor's Children Legion bore that privilege. SirAndrewD
Internment in the holy sepulcher of a Venerable Dreadnought. Trick it out with copious purity seals, banners and stories of his glorious tales written upon his armor. Vodunius
The most recent WD (or at least it was 10 days ago) has the concept sketches for the original Mk7 colour scheme for Ultramarines, it was presumably intended to be mid-heresy as not only were the company markings apparently intended for the pre/mid-heresy regimental system from WD126, but it also includes campaign badges for the Horus Heresy in general (a white oval on the front of the marines left greave) as well as the Battle for Mars (marines left greave painted white, with a red downward pointing sword upon it) ~ the badges were shown on Ultramarines, but one of the other campaign badges (the Wolf Strike) was shown on a Blood Angel in the final article, so the badges HH/Mars badges may also have been used by other legions. Its possible veterans of those campaigns might have retained such markings in smaller form (much like Black Templars may sometimes retain the emblem of past crusades on small shields upon their armour, with the current crusades marking being shown on a larger shield) Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/148863-signs-of-the-herasy/#findComment-1733331 Share on other sites
