WIP Plague marine

Hi all,this is my friends first go at creating a plague marine from some of my spare marine parts.

It's also his first try using greenstuff and he's asked me to post some pics for you guys to see and for comments.

Here his is sketch for how he wanted the marine to look:

Nice use of green stuff and other components! My one suggestion would be removing some rather conspicous mould-lines on the backpack and sword arm.

 

For my personal taste, he is slightly too fat - the sculpting itself is effective, but I prefer more subtleness with the bloating myself.

nice work there, i do agree the Plague Marines over-weightness is a little over done but overall very, very good work for a first attempt. puts me to shame, i wont touch green stuff apart from gap filling as i dont want to make a monumental balls up with a miniature but i have come to the conclusion i need to start using it if i want to take my models to the next level. id say 10/10 for effort.
