Grey_Death
Had a buddy down this week and his love for 40k was rekindled after a quick trip to pick up the Space Marine dex with me. So he snatched up a few boxes of minis and we got back to the house and quickly got to sorting through the new mess of plastic and metal. After some thought he decided he was going to start a marine force. We got to hammering out some concepts as far as army composition etc. and decided that the force would be based around bikes and jump packs (it helped that he bought some marines ravenwing bikers ^_-). He also decided that he wanted to make them a successor to my very own Grey Death Marines. A little bit of work on color scheming and we got to painting. Here's the fruit of my labor helping him by putting a model together and painting it for him: http://i116.photobucket.com/albums/o31/raynotisick/darkscythes.jpg
Pulse
I think the black and grey scheme works very well indeed. The biker overall looks really good, i love the flapping scroll, the detailing on that and the bike monitor is very nice. Are you going to be painting his army for him or guiding him to paint his own?
Yogi
Wow that is cool, the dirt effect is looking good and overall the marine looks great. The only thing I dont like is that he's sideways on is base so when you line him up with other bike he'll be all skewed, but thats barely even a criticsm great work. Gafgarion
This is a great mini, I'm suprised there are so few comments. It looks very slick, makes me want to paint black marines even though I know I'd get bored with the monotony of black and grey.
Cpt_Tiberius
I dig it. I like the banner, and the freehand is quite nice. :D
